Dear Fresno Arts Council,

Thanks for supporting this site! It's been a great year of growth -- and lateupdate.com will continue to grow in very exciting ways too.

Fresno is my hometown -- I will always care about this city. I may not live here for my entire life. And it looks like 2009 will be an even better
year for all of us -- despite the economic forecasts -- simply because everyone I've been talking to around here are expressing their optimism for
Fresno in 2009. I hope that LateUpdate.com has been a part of people's thoughts when they consider what Fresno has to offer.

And I'll continue to offer LateUpdate.com as a Fresno solution, and 2009 will see a lot of changes to this site for the better. The site started out
as an experiment and has blossomed into a great hub for this community, and the journey has been rough at times -- part of the process when you're
building something new in a place where new ideas are hard to come by.

A new version of the site is in the works that should be ready for a New Year's launch! The new version will look almost completely the same, except
it will be put a focus on the blogs rather than just the news, and will actually combine the news section with the blogging section so that you, the
Fresnans, can truly begin to share info, thoughts, and other topics with our community.

For me, 2009 holds great potential and I'm hecka excited about what I see on the horizon for this upcoming year. We've only begun to fulfill the
potential of this city! I hope you'll join me on the journey so that we can look back at this time of year, next year, and see how we all contribued
to the enormous growthof this town.

Again, thanks for supporting my site and have a Happy New Year -- and stay tuned for more compelling stories, entertaining and thought-provoking
bloggers, and a few other cool surprises that you have come to expect from this site.
