CVHEC REPORT OFFERS LOOK AT COLLEGE GOING RATES IN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY

A new report issued by the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium indicates positive movement in increasing college success in under-represented
groups at the community college level—good news for the region’s employers since Hispanics make up almost half of the Valley’s population.

CLOVIS ARREST WOMAN FOR EMBEZZLEMENT OF MORE THAN $400K

Clovis Businessman Brad Scott, owner of Brad’s Auto Body, lost nearly a million dollars after his bookkeeper of 3.5 years embezzled more than
$415,000.00 from his business financial accounts. As a result, he had to use nearly $500,000.00 in personal funds to keep the business afloat and
retain the jobs of the twelve employees who work for his company.

POLICE ARREST SIX BULLDOG GANG MEMBERS

In response to a homicide which occurred in the Southeast Policing District on Saturday evening, Southeast Policing personnel conducted proactive
enforcement in known gang areas.  As a result of this enforcement action, Officers acquired information regarding a wanted female, 26 year old Fresno
resident Erin Evans, who had a felony narcotics warrant.  Additional information also suggested that this female was in the company of several bulldog
gang members.

DAN GAMEL LIQUIDATING CALIFORNIA RV DEALERSHIPS

It was just over six months ago when Fresno businessman Dan Gamel returned to the helm of the corporation that carries his name and the company's six
RV sales and service centers that he had sold off in 2005. Today Gamel announced that he will begin liquidating the inventory of all recreational
vehicles in his remaining RV dealerships and he will close the doors for good once the inventory is sold off.
