Today¹s post on a daily newsletter A Very Short List, is The impossible
Art of Li Wei.
If you haven¹t seen A Very Short List, try it, you¹ll like. Every day an
interesting article, well most every day¹s article is interesting, but at
least once a week they hit it out of the park. And today¹s does big time.
Photography is too often overlooked as art. Fortunately for those of us in
Fresno, Spectrum Fine Art Photography Gallery, the Fresno Art Museum, Arte
Americas and the Met [it opens again Nov. 13th] have showcased stunning
examples of accomplished photographers from the valley and the world. And
if you have never seen Fresno native photographer, Joel Pickford, you are
missing a seriously amazing world class artist. He¹ll have an exhibit
coming up later this fall/spring. When the date is set, go.
On the A Very Short List for today you¹ll see a Li¹s work, it defies logic.
