The Fresno Arts Council would like to invite you and your guests to a FREE

movie screening "Ghost Town" from Paramount Pictures is showing tomorrow,
Thursday, July 31 at 7 pm at Sierra Vista Mall Cinema 16 on Shaw Ave., in
Clovis.  The film stars Ricky Gervais, Tea Leoni and Greg Kinnear and is
directed by David Koepp.  The film plays extremely well (think upscale Woody
Allen), and “smart” audiences have really been responding favorably to it.


Movie Synopsis:  Bertram Pincus (Ricky Gervais) is a man whose people skills
leave much to be desired. When Pincus dies unexpectedly, but is miraculously
revived after seven minutes, he wakes up to discover that he now has the
annoying ability to see ghosts. Even worse, they all want something from
him, particularly Frank Herlihy (Greg Kinnear), who pesters him into
breaking up the impending marriage of his widow Gwen (Téa Leoni). That puts
Pincus squarely in the middle of a triangle, with spirited results.


During the movie premier:  Arrive early for best seating (first-come,
first-serve basis).  No tickets will be handed out and the final list of
attendees will be printed off the RSVP through FresnoArts. Ttickets for the
post-screening reception at Bliss Nightclub will be handed out at the movie;
dress code to the night club will be enforced.


There are 100 seats left.  Anyone who registers late will be placed on a
