spirituality through her playing, American pianist Anne-Marie 
McDermott is widely celebrated for her expressive performances on the 
world's most illustrious stages. Winner of an Avery Fisher Career 
Development Award and a champion of works ranging form Bach to 
Prokofiev, she is recognized for the "love, intelligence, and 
boundless enthusiasm" (Gramophone Magazine) in her playing.
