  DeRouchey Creative Design Studio and the Fresno Arts Council proudly present the Colour Blind Collection. Inspired by an exploration of color, eight artists delve into an expression of various hues. Each color has been randomly assigned to the artists. This has led the artists to lend identity to their color through a refined perspective. From primary red, yellow and blue to secondary orange, green and violet, even black and white, each color expresses itself by dominating both active and inactive space in each piece.
   
  The show will feature artwork fashioned by artists Samuel J. Tekunoff, David Bogdanov, Carmelo Rossette, Uriel Tekunoff, Mike O’Connell, Alexis Rossette, Richard Randall and Chance James. A breadth of mediums will be shown including digitally manipulated photography, collage, acrylic, spray paint on canvas, plywood and paper.
   
  WHERE: DeRouchey Creative Design Studio 1803 S. Van Ness Avenue, Fresno, Ca 93721
  WHEN: October 2, 2008 5-9pm, reception at 6pm
   
  The show will be held during Art Hop this Thursday for one night only, opening at 5pm. Drinks and hors d'oevres will be offered during the reception at 6pm. Admission is free! Colour Blind Collection is the second annual art show hosted by DeRouchey Creative Design Studio. The Studio occupies the former Central California Beef Processors building located at 1803 S.
