The Cultural Leadership‹Vision plus Strategy‹2008 Cultural Arts Conference
Friday, October 17, 2008

What Deborah Nankivell of the Fresno Business Council says about the
conference:

A few of us had an early taste of the exciting and often hilarious insights
of John King, luncheon keynote for the 2008 Cultural Arts Conference hosted
by FCASH. King, author of Tribal Leadership: Leveraging Natural Groups to
Build a Thriving Organization, teaches corporate leaders how they can use
their tribes‹the groups that naturally form within any organization‹to
maximize productivity and outcomes in their organization. In essence, King
has developed tools to take the deep understanding of humanity from the
human development disciplines and integrate it into the culture of
performance essential to the survival of the private sector. It usually
takes the cutting edge learning of the private sector years to reach the
other sectors. The reverse can also be true. Let¹s take a quantum leap in
Fresno and integrate the culture of performance and the culture of
compassion and create a great community now! The conference is Friday,
October 17 from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Holiday Inn, Downtown Fresno. For
