[FAC] Artist Reception

Cafe 225 presents... David Castro & Naomi Hendrix

Please join us for an Artist Reception on April 17th from 5p.m. to  
7p.m. at Cafe 225.

David Castro, works with paint, among other mediums.  Working  
abstractly, each piece born of the moment influenced by the music,  
emotions, materials, and textures of the earth.  Often described as  
terrestrial color planes, abstract landscapes, or self-portraits,  
allowing the viewer the final interpretation.

						Art allows me to go back and forth between my two worlds. One  
is a place of creation and dream and the other is a 							place of  
subsistence and work.



Naomi Hendrix, photographer.  Naomi will be showing her beautiful  
“Wild Life” series.  Her inspiration birthed from the Living  
Creatures she began watching daily in the Memorial Court Yard she had  
created after her young son Ian’s death.  During that time she began  
to see the beauty of life everywhere.

						I tribute my artistic talent of photography to my son, who is  
probably laughing at this moment knowing that I really 							can see  
him now everywhere, everyday.
