Poetry Workshop with Tim Z. Hernandez at the Tulare County Library in  
Visalia

On Friday, April 24 award winning writer, Tim Z. Hernandez will  
facilitate a poetry workshop for local writers ages 16 and up, of all  
skill levels.  Mr. Hernandez is a central valley native who has  
garnered national attention for his book Skin Tax, which received the  
American Book Award in 2006, as well as, numerous other awards. The  
workshop will delve into various writing exercises that are aimed at  
igniting the creative potential within the writer, as well as, a  
discussion on the business of writing and getting published. Space is
