California State University, Fresno and the Department of Theatre Arts present the University 
Dance Theatre concert: “On the Walk”


Its that time of year again! California State University, Fresno’s University Dance Theatre will 
put on its biannual dance production.  There will be four opportunities to see the show.  
There are three 8 p.m. shows on Thursday, April 30, Friday, May 1 and Friday, May 2; as well 
as a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, May 2. 

The show will be presented in the intimate University Lab School Theatre. This semester’s 
concert is titled “On the Walk” and showcases many dance styles.

The production will last approximately 90 minutes, including a fifteen-minute intermission. 
The performance is based around nine group works, and is choreographed, performed and 
produced by University Dance Theatre students under the guidance of Associate Professor 
Kenneth Balint.  The featured pieces are all entirely original and range from hip -hop to 
contemporary, tap to salsa, modern to lyrical; this show is not one to be missed!

Tickets are five dollars and can be purchased at the box office in the Speech Arts building or

Dance Theatre has a history of selling out prior to the shows, so it is advised that you 
purchase your tickets in advance.  

The students of UDT are proud to produce and present what they’ve been creating
