Executive Director
Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley
San Jose, California

Position Description: The Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV) is a
public foundation dedicated to inspiring community philanthropy and engaging
people to invest in the health, educational achievement, and leadership
development of a thriving Hispanic community in Silicon Valley.

Having recently completed a strategic business planning process, HFSV seeks
a leader who will work with staff and board to move the foundation to the
next level of growth by increasing capacity and implement new initiatives to
address the needs of the Silicon Valley Latino community. The next Executive
Director will be a seasoned professional who has strong nonprofit management
and fundraising experience and who will build alliances and collaborate with
a broad range of constituents in a culturally-competent and proficient
manner.

To Apply: Submit your resume, and a brief cover letter (not to exceed 500
words) in which you describe your qualifications and address the following
topics:

    * Familiarity with the Silicon Valley and its Hispanic community.
    * Your understanding of the challenges and opportunities to engage the
Silicon Valley Hispanic community in the mission of the foundation.
    * Your experience working with or understanding of a community
foundation.
