Call to Teaching Artists

The Arts Council of Tulare County is looking for Teaching Artist for  
the 2009-2010 Artist in Education program. Workshops, and Assembles  
could include artists programs in all art disciplines, Dance, Music,  
Theater, Visual Arts.

Artists chosen will be selected by Teachers throughout Tulare County  
to go into classrooms.

Workshops or assembly (one day) - $200*
Curriculum based program (three day) - $500*

*Artists my charge more than this but the school will have to make up  
the difference

The most competitive applications will provide the following:

• A Resume
• Samples of personal work in Jpeg format, MP3 or DVD format
• A one page overview of at each program you would like to include in  
the AIE book if chosen.

Please send completed application by August 31st. The Artist in  
Education committee will vet the applications and chose the most  
qualified candidates

On September 29th from 5:30 - 8:00pm there will be an AIE Meet the  
Artists Night were Teachers from throughout the county will be invited  
to Tulare County Office of Education building. Each artist will be  
given a table to display their work and talk to the teachers about  
there programs. Selections will be made that evening.
