CALL TO ARTISTS: Mistletoe & Martinis - Fresno Art Museum Fundraiser  - The
Fresno Art Museum (FAM) announces a Call To Artists to donate works for the
Mistletoe & Martini's fundraiser event!

EVENT DETAILS:  The FAM announces its upcoming event, Mistletoe & Martinis,
which will take place on DECEMBER 11. This fundraising event will feature
original artwork donated by local artists.  These unique pieces will be
showcased at the Fresno Art Museum's Gallery Gift Shop and auctioned off to
the public. The FAM is seeking artists who can create and donate UNIQUE
ARTISTIC WORKS, HOLIDAY THEMED WREATHS or ORNAMENTS. This exciting holiday
event will assist with the Museum's current fundraising efforts while
providing the public with the perfect opportunity to purchase seasonal
gifts. All works will be displayed in the Museum and auctioned off on
DECEMBER 11; 5-9pm during the Mistletoe & Martini event.  

REQUIREMENTS: Each artist can donate one art piece. All subject matter and
media will be accepted. All artwork must be framed and completely ready for
hanging.
Framed artwork in two dimensions cannot exceed: 12 X 12 inches
Artwork in three dimensions cannot exceed: 12 X 12 X 12 inches
Wreaths cannot exceed: 22 X 22 inches
Ornaments must be able to hang and fit on a standard Christmas tree.
 
Only original works will be accepted for digital art; any reproductions or
scans of pre-existing art will not be accepted. The FAM reserves the right
to refuse any submissions. Please write ARTIST NAME, TITLE and VALUE OF THE
WORK on the back of each piece. The artwork, wreath or ornament must be
wrapped for protection when delivering. Participating artists should deliver
their work to the FAM at 2233 N. First Street, Fresno, CA 93703 NO LATER
THAN 5pm on December 4. Artwork will be accepted only during regular Museum
business hours 12-4pm Wednesday-Sunday. Your art donation is greatly
appreciated and each participating artist will receive (2) tickets to the
event. Unsold art must be picked up by December 23 by 4p.m. and will not be
held beyond this date.
