[FAC] SEEKING ARTISTS @ American Heart Association

Seeking local artists to showcase artwork at the American Heart
Association's Central Valley Heart Ball. The Heart Ball will be held on
Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Weber BMW.  In an effort to help the American
Heart Association raise funds for cardiovascular research, we are looking
for five local artists who would be willing to create "What Heart Means to
You" and donate your piece of art to be auctioned off at the event.  If you
would like to be considered for this opportunity, please submit three
examples of your work in an email to Debbie Truhett. (jpeg preferred, no
entries over two years old, contact information below). Five local artists
will be selected to create a custom piece of art that will be viewed and
judged by Heart Ball sponsors and VIP guests at a preview event in March.
(date & location TBD). The winner will be showcased in the live auction the
night of the Heart Ball and the other four pieces of art will be auctioned
in the silent auction that evening. We encourage varying types of art to
enter.  Some of the benefits to the artist who participates: 

*	

	Art to be displayed in public setting in March; 
*	

	A program with a bio on each artist will be provided to every guest
at the Preview event in March (distributed to approx. 100 guests or more);
*	

	Art to be displayed at the Central Valley Heart Ball on May 15th at
Weber BMW; A program with a bio on each artist will also be provided to
every guest at the Central Valley Heart Ball in May (distributed to over 500
guests); and
*	

	Winner will receive one full page ad in the event program.
