Camp Ocean Pines is the place to be April 19-26, 2009. Imagine a magnificent
ocean view while having a great time hanging with friendly artists. You can
carve stone all day, catch some tips from masters, cut glass for fusing,
model clay, or learn some welding techniques. Kind and talented instructors
will be around to help you. We will have a life model, a generator, an air
compressor and fresh coffee 24/7.
Art City Stone Supply will have a wide variety of stone every day. A Cut
Above Distributing Co. will have Trow & Holden tools and numerous other
supplies for you for 4 days.
You will have a chance to show your sculptures in our show, Sculpture By
The Sea, to the public April 25th, hosted by Camp Ocean Pines.
If you get up early, you get to see the wild turkeys judging your
sculptures outside or sit quietly with the morning deer. There is a peaceful
beach nearby just for you.
At night you can listen to the surf and catch a falling star, and have
time and space for recharging your creative battery.
 
Our symposium is for professional and non professional artists to have a
full week of education and enrichment. The magic of friendship and personal
creativity comes to life and the global web of sculptors expands. Please
come and share the good times.
