[FAC] SEEKING ART VENUES for Water Week March 15-22

SEEKING ART VENUES:

The Women's International League for Peace & Freedom's local branch is
sponsoring a Water Week of events March 15-22nd.  The third Thursday ArtHop
will happen during this week (March 19). We are seeking art venues to
exhibit artwork with "water" as the subject to be displayed for this ArtHop.
If you are interested, contact the Fresno Arts Council at 237-9734, or
mfranco at fresnoartscouncil.org; they will refer artists interested in
exhibiting their "water" art.  Our local branch will be happy to attend your
ArtHop and distribute water information, please contact Jean Hays at
313-7674 or 439-0280 or skyhorse3593 at sbcglobal.net to make arrangement.

Water Week will kick off March 15 with a ceremony at the San Joaquin River;
ArtHop on Thursday; Friday is the showing of FLOW (For Love of Water) at
CSUF Cineculture; Saturday will be an Un-Garden Tour featuring
drought-tolerant gardens; and Sunday at Rally in the Valley--the Raging
Grannies will present a mini-concert of water songs.
