[FAC] Afiara String Quartet

On Friday, July 17, CSU Summer Arts showcases a concert by the all-Canadian group, Afiara String Quartet ( www.afiara.com ), winner of the 2008 Concert Artists Guild International Competition and named The Julliard School’s new graduate resident string quartet beginning in 2009-10.   Already in its young career, the Quartet has garnered the endorsement of both the Kronos and Alexander String Quartets.   



Concert begins at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall.   Tickets are priced at $15 students/seniors; $20 general; $25 reserved.   Tickets may be purchased by calling the box office at 559-278-5109 or going online to www.csusummerarts.org
