"Artists Revealed"  is open to photographers working worldwide, and may be
of any artist, working in any discipline, including but not limited
to...visual artists, writers, musicians, film makers, animators, actors,
dancers, and poets.

A Celebration of the Life and Works of photographer John Rogers 

Opening Reception Saturday June 6th from 5 to 8 PM 

John Barton Rogers began his career in photography processing black and
white film in a garage darkroom.  Later in life he joined the digital
revolution, shooting hundreds of pictures a year, and using the transforming
tool of the computer to present new and sometimes startling perceptions of
the world that surrounded him.  As a member of Spectrum Gallery in Fresno ,
John extended the use of space to take the photograph out of the frame and
off the wall. Always the observer, he loved to photograph the natural world,
and to share his observations with a poetic eye and a gentle sense of humor.
