 Historic Home Tour this weekend, November 13 and 14.  Tickets are still available for Friday night's autumn supper on the lawn of Wishon House, 3555 E. Huntington Blvd.  We're having fun decorating with carved heirloom pumpkins for a colorful display and fun lighting!  Love and Garlic is catering with Tortilla Soup and Empanadas, Squash Soup and Corn Bread, and lots more!  Wine and hot cider!  Bonfires to keep you warm.  And a candlelit tour of 5 beautiful homes on Huntington Blvd.  Don't miss this special evening on the Boulevard! $50 (reservations required).

Saturday, free lecture at Roosevelt High School Library, "Greening up your Historic Home" with Karana Hattersley-Drayton, City of Fresno's Historic Preservation Project Manager, Chris Johnson AIA, who will discuss how to "Rehab Right" using the Secretary of Interior's Standards, Jon Carroll, homeowner who will share his insights from recently remodeling his historic Huntington Blvd. home, and Joseph Oldham, City of Fresno's Sustainability Manager who will talk about the science of energy efficiency (including why window change-outs are not the best way to conserve energy and money).

The Tour of the 5 homes follows from Noon until 4PM.  $30 ($35 day of event)
