We brought it back at your request, Holiday High Tea has returned on
December 6, 2009 at 3pm.  Bring your mother, daughter, sister and
favorite aunt to the traditional tea you've always loved in the past is
back to lift your spirits this holiday season.  Giving back to your Arts
Community never felt so cozy!

 

Tickets are available now and are $35 per person, all ages welcome.

"Tot Spot" 

"Tot Spot at the Met" is a new activity for preschool children.  "Tot
Spot" will be held on Fridays starting December 4, 2009 through December
18, 2009 from 11:15am to noon.  Parents and their preschoolers are
invited to take part in this informal learning opportunity as we read
books and incorporate activities that explore, movement, art, music and
more. 

 

This program is free with Museum admission and will provide all
materials. Please meet in the Museum Lobby.

On December 12, 2009 at 8 a.m. Sam I Am strikes again with a Seuss-ified
breakfast at the Met with all your favorite morning eats including a
hefty helping of green eggs and ham.

 

The Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast hosted by the Cultural Arts Rotary Club
is a great opportunity for your family to reconnect with your favorite
Dr. Seuss' story. Explore the Art of Dr. Seuss: A Retrospective
Exhibition to see the several artistic sides of Seuss' from his
political cartoons to the iconic children's books. 

 

The Breakfast also gives your family the opportunity to view Horton
Hears a Holiday exhibition of whimsical Christmas trees themed after
Seuss' illustrated children's books, all while enjoying the comfort of a
warm and delicious breakfast.
