Range of (E)Motion Dance Company is a new modern & experimental dance group now performing in Fresno. The intentions of this group are to a) explore the dancer’s inner world as an integral part of improvisation and performance, b) create open fields of co-creative possibility with artists of other disciplines, and c) seek movement innovation through the use of diverse styles, techniques, spaces and structures. Director Kellie Townsend combines over 30 years of dance, improvisation and performance experience with training in energetic and somatic techniques to help dancers realize their potential as deeply present performers.
