[FAC] Receiving for Clovis Veterans Show

Receiving for the Clovis Veteran?s Open Fall Art Show, Voices from Home, begins Thursday, October 29 through Friday, October 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Independence room at the Clovis Veterans Memorial Building. Each artist may enter two works but only one per category. All media is acceptable in each category. Category 1: Voices from home, honors veteran?s heroism from any time in our U.S. History (without showing the horrors of war). Category 2: fruits of our freedom, shows examples of living in a free country and enjoying its beauty. $20.00 per entry. The annual Children?s Art show also sponsored by the Clovis Veteran?s Memorial District will run concurrently with the adult show. Winners of the children?s art show will be displayed alongside the adult art.
The show will run from November 2, 2009 through Wednesday, November 11, 1009. The artist reception, which is open to the public, will be Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
