Come join us as the Newman Center Grounds are turned into the 

"The Land of Newman"

The St. Paul Newman Center Renaissance Festival is back better than
ever.  This is a free event is for the whole family with the Guild of St
Augustine providing lively entertainment that is sure to amaze and
delight everyone! 

The Queen's court will be presiding over the Newman Center grounds with
characters dressed in period costumes, playing period instruments and
others demonstrating such medieval skills such as fencing and jousting. 

For two days the church grounds are transformed into a Renaissance style
open-air market.  There will be many vendors with craft booths and
beautiful wares. 

Food and drink are always essential for this occasion with many
epicurean delights available for all to enjoy! Some of the highlights
include corndogs, Mediterranean chicken sandwiches, nachos and tri-tip
sandwiches and more.

The children's play land will have many fun activities that will include
puppeteers, story tellers, and medieval music with period arts and
crafts for boys and girls alike.
