The imagination of a child never fails to amaze, regardless of its origin. Everywhere around the world, children are inspired by their favorite toys.  While the types of toys and the creativity that goes into them is very different from place to place, the result is the same - the enlightening and inspiring play of a child!

The Fresno Metropolitan Museum has a unique show on its calendar for 2010, and we want to know what you think!

Mexico: Festival of Toys is a unique look at the toys that inspire children who are our neighbors to the south.  Take a look at just a few of the spectacularly colorful playthings that will be on view here: http://www.museum.oas.org/exhibitions/museum_exhibitions/toys/view.htm

Give us your thoughts on this exhibition.  What do you hope to see?  Do you think it's important for the Met to have shows like these?  Let us know by emailing marketing at fresnomet.org, posting on our blog about the exhibition at http://www.fresnomet.org/mettalk or by sending us a note at the address or fax below.
