EVENT

The Cedar-Clinton Branch Library wishes to invite you all to its Friends of the Cedar-Clinton Library (FOCCL) Open House program on Saturday September 26, 2009.  The day long program includes a visit from children's author, Steven Riley at 1:00 PM, a screening of the preview of the Ken Burn's National Park series at 2:00 PM and a talk from local educator Shannon Escobedo at 3:00.

This program is held in honor of our National Parks and film maker, Ken Burns.  Ms. Escobedo, from the discovery center will bring some interesting artifacts found at some of the parks  as well. There will be crafts and activities for children and teens, refreshments and an view the various services offered by the library to the public free of charge.  
A small selection of books will also be available for sale as a preview to our FOCCL booksale scheduled for October 3rd.  All proceeds benefit the FOCCL.
