[FAC] Fresno Filmworks presents in January "Bright Star"

Fresno Filmworks presents "Bright Star" the new Jane Campion film about John
Keats and Fanny Brawne at Tower Theatre on Friday, January 8 at 5:30 and
8:15 p.m. But that's not the event! On the Wednesday prior, we'll be
hosting a special poetry event and fundraiser celebrating the poetry of John
Keats. Here are the details on Wednesday, January 6 at Revue Cafe Theater,
620 E. Olive from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Poetry of John Keats and discussing his
life and work. This will be followed by an introduction to Jane Campion (who
also directed The Piano), Fanny Brawne, and a showing of the movie trailer.
A $100 gift certificate to Veni Vidi Vici will be awarded to the person in
the best Romantic-era costume. There will also be a raffle. This is a FREE
event, but donations are requested. You can simply drop them in the Grecian
urn at the donation table. The event will be hosted by LEE HERRICK, author
of THIS MANY MILES FROM DESIRE.
