CALL TO ARTISTS First Annual Sorensen Gallery Art from the Heart Show

You are invited to submit work for this show that will be held in  
February at the Chris Sorensen Gallery.

The theme of the show is "Art from the Heart", and the idea is to  
have works of art that would make great gifts for Valentine's Day.

The show will be juried by Chris Sorensen and Kerby Smith. There is  
no entry fee.

All work accepted into the show must be for sale, and Chris Sorensen  
will receive a 25% commission on any work sold during the show.

The artist may submit one piece of work at any price in addition to  
at least one other work of art that will sell for $100 or less. The  
more items for sale under $100, the better.

The Chris Sorensen Studio and Gallery will host the opening during  
the February 2010 Art Hop on Thursday, February 4th.

You may submit digital images of your work along with a description  
and artist statement to Kerby at sti.net. The deadline for digital  
submission is Friday, January 22nd, 2010.

Or you may drop off artwork on Friday, January 22nd at the gallery at  
2223 S. Van Ness Ave. in Fresno.

You will be notified by e-mail on Monday, January 25th if your work  
is accepted for the show. You will have to deliver your artwork to  
the gallery no later than Noon on Friday, January 29th. You must pick  
up unsold artwork on Friday, February 26th.
