CALL TO ARTISTS First Annual Sorensen Gallery Art from the Heart Show

The deadline for submission to this show has been extended to  
Thursday, January 28th for digital submissions and Friday, January  
29th at Noon if you prefer to drop off your artwork.

The theme of the show is "Art from the Heart", and the idea is to  
have works of art that would make great gifts for Valentine's Day.

The show will be juried by Chris Sorensen and Kerby Smith. There is  
no entry fee.

All work accepted into the show must be for sale, and Chris Sorensen  
will receive a 25% commission on any work sold during the show.

The artist may submit one piece of work at any price in addition to  
at least one other work of art that will sell for $100 or less. The  
more items for sale under $100, the better.

The Chris Sorensen Studio and Gallery will host the opening during  
the February 2010 Art Hop on Thursday, February 4th.

You may submit digital images of your work along with a description  
and artist statement to Kerby at sti.net.

Or you may drop off artwork on or before Friday, January 29th at the  
gallery at 2223 S. Van Ness Ave. in Fresno.

You will be notified by e-mail this week if your work is accepted for  
the show. You will have to deliver your artwork to the gallery no  
later than Noon on Friday, January 29th. You must pick up unsold  
artwork on Friday, February 26th.
